Men’s Health Week 2023 runs from 12th to 18th June. This is a time to bring awareness to health issues that affect men disproportionately and focus on them becoming aware of problems they may have or could develop. In doing so, they may gain the courage to seek help. Lots of us are willing to talk about our mental health but can find it difficult to find the right moment. Fear of stigma and a lack of knowledge can lead to hesitancy.

Men, generally, are less likely to discuss their feelings. However, they are just as likely to require mental health support as women. So, on Men’s Health Day, men can seize the opportunity to work on building positive mental health for themselves.

They can show that it’s perfectly ok to talk. We’re encouraging you to check in on the men in your lives: friends, sons, husbands, partners, brothers, fathers or colleagues.
